Catalogue Number 151216
Applications ELISA FACS IHC IF IP RIA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets S100A9 (MRP14)
Reactivity Human
Relevance S100A9 is a cytosolic calcium-binding protein that forms a heterodimer. S100A9 is expressed in peripheral blood monocytes, neutrophils and keratinocytes (mature). Expression is lost on tissue maturation of monocytes to macrophages. S100A9 may be associated with monocyte and neutrophil activation and the accumulation of these cells in inflammatory sites.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Recombinant human S100A9
Positive Control Neutrophil lysate (from spleen)
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI 1640 (2% Bicarbonate) plus 10% Foetal Calf Serum.
Strain Balb/c
Notes The epitope was detected via phage display to be “….HHHK106P107GL109GEGTP” at the C-terminus of S100A9.
Research Area Cancer, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Immunology
