Anti-Plasminogen [SBF1 C1.21]

Invented at University of Cambridge

Info

Catalogue Number 151212
Applications ELISA
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Plasminogen
Reactivity Human
Relevance Plasminogen is converted to the active serine protease plasmin by proteolytic cleavage by urokinase-type (uPA) and tissue-type (tPA) plasminogen activators. Plasmin is a key enzyme in the fibrinolytic pathway (lysis of the unwanted blood clots). Plasminogen related growth factors are potent effectors of growth, movement and differentiation of epithlia and endothelia. The receptor tyrosine kinsase for HGF/SF is the product of the proto-oncogene c-met.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Human Plasminogen
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used NS0
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Notes Does not cross react with HGF1/MSP or HGF/SF. Cross reacts with plasmin
Research Area Cancer, Cardiovascular
