Catalogue Number 151172
Applications FACS IF IP RIA
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Fibrin alpha chain
Reactivity Human
Relevance Fibrin (also called Factor Ia) is a fibrous protein involved in the clotting of blood, and is non-globular. It is a fibrillar protein that is polymerised to form a "mesh" that forms a hemostatic plug or clot (in conjunction with platelets) over a wound site.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Human acute monoblastic leukemia cells.
Subclass IgM
Molecular Weight (kDa) 45
Myeloma Used P3/NS1/1-Ag4.1
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Strain Balb/c
Notes UC45 is specific for monocytic leukemias. The relevant antigens are not expressed in all cases with monocytic differentiation. Cross reacts with fibrinogen.
