Applications IHC IF IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Fibroblast Growth Factor-3 (FGF3; Int2)
Reactivity Human, Mouse and Xenopus laevis
Relevance Monoclonal antibody directed against FGF-3, key for investigating breast carcinogenesis resulting from MMTV.

Background and Research Application
Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) can stimulate the proliferation of mesenchymal, epithelial and neuroectodermal cells. FGF3 belongs to the heparin binding growth factors family and is a member of the angiogenic fibroblast growth factor family. FGF3 is an oncogene frequently activated in mammary carcinomas resulting from the chromosomal integration of the mouse mammary tumour virus (MMTV). FGF-3 is implicated in breast carcinogenesis and mammalian development.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Peptide conjugated to BSA.
Immunogen UniProt ID P11487
Subclass IgG2a

Myeloma Used P3/NS1/1-Ag4.1
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Strain Balb/c
Notes Production Details
Purified using multi-step affinity chromatography with protein A.

Storage Conditions
Store at -20 degrees frozen. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
