| Applications | ELISA FACS IHC IF IP RIA WB |
| Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets | Protein Kinase C alpha |
| Reactivity | Bovine |
| Relevance | Protein Kinase C is a family of serine/threonine protein kinases that are activated by Ca2+, diacylglycerol and membrane phospholipids (phosphatidylserine). MC5 blocks partial proteolysis of PKC by trypsin in vitro. Fab fragment inhibits phorbol-ester-induced down-regulation of PKC in a rodent gloma cell line. |
