Relevance Multidrug resistance associated protein 2 is a member of the super family of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. These proteins are involved in transport of various molecules across extra and intracellular membranes.
Production Details The model was created by targeting the Abcc2 gene in 129/Ola-derived E14 ES cells and injecting the targeted cells into C57BL/6 blastocysts. Resultant chimeras were backcrossed to FVB/N for seven generations.
