Invented at The Institute of Cancer Research

Info

Catalogue Number 153413
Applications IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Mouse CCT2 / CCT Beta
Synonyms CCT2; 99D8.1; CCT-beta; CCTB; PRO1633; TCP-1-beta; TCP1 Beta
Reactivity Bovine, Dog, Hamster, Human, Mouse, Pig, Rat, Rabbit and Sheep
Relevance This gene encodes a molecular chaperone that is member of the chaperonin containing TCP1 complex (CCT), also known as the TCP1 ring complex (TRiC). This complex consists of two identical stacked rings, each containing eight different proteins. Unfolded polypeptides enter the central cavity of the complex and are folded in an ATP-dependent manner. The complex folds various proteins, including actin and tubulin.
Host Rat
Immunogen TCP1 beta peptide conjugated to purified tuberculin protein derivative (PPD) (Mouse)
Subclass IgG2b
Molecular Weight (kDa) 55
Strain Balb/c
Notes Optimal concentrtion for Immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissue sections is 10 ug/ml.
Research Area Apoptosis and Programmed Cell Death, Cancer, Cell Cycle, Immunology
