Anti-XPF [XPF 3F2/3]

Catalogue Number 151521
Applications ELISA IHC IF WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets XPF
Reactivity Human
Relevance Nucleotide excision repair (NER) is a DNA repair pathway that removes lesions induced by a variety of agents such as UV irradiation. ERCC1 and XPF form the heterodimer ERCC1-XPF, forming a DNA endonuclease that is essential for the dual incision step of NER (cleaves 5' of the DNA lesion).
Host Mouse
Immunogen A recombinant His-tagged fragment of human XPF protein produced in E. coli
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Strain Balb/c
Notes For a negative control test, embed human cell lines in paraffin and section and stain exactly as one would do for human tissue. It is then possible to include verified XPF-defective cells in the experiment. See references for further details. XP2YO cells are readily available from public cell banks.
