  • raised against cultured human T cell line-CA-1
  • CD45RO Antibody (UCH-L1) is recommended for detection of CD45RO (180-185 kDa) of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • Anti-CD45RO Antibody (UCH-L1) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to APC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • Contact our Technical Service Department (or your local Distributor) for more information on how to receive a FREE 10 µg sample of CD45RO (UCH-L1): sc-1183.
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG2a BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for CD45RO Antibody (UCH-L1) for WB and IHC(P) applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with CD45RO Antibody (UCH-L1) (see ordering information below).

CD45RO Antibody (UCH-L1) is an IgG2a κ mouse monoclonal CD45RO antibody (also designated CD45 antibody, PTPRC antibody or protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C antibody) that detects the CD45RO protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and FCM. CD45RO Antibody (UCH-L1) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-CD45RO antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-CD45RO antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD45R, also designated CD45 and PTPRC, has been identified as a transmembrane glycoprotein, broadly expressed among hematopoietic cells. Multiple isoforms of CD45R are distributed throughout the immune system according to cell type. These isoforms arise because of alternative splicing of exons 4, 5, and 6. The corresponding protein domains are characterized by the binding of monoclonal antibodies specific for CD45RA (exon 4), CD45RB (exon 5), CD45RC (exon 6) and CD45RO (exons 4 to 6 spliced out). The variation in these isoforms is localized to the extracellular domain of CD45R, while the intracellular domain is conserved. CD45R functions as a phosphotyrosine phosphatase, a vital component for efficient tyrosine phosphorylation induction by the TCR/CD3 complex. The tyrosine phosphatase activity of CD45R is contained within the conserved intracellular domain. Src and Syk family protein tyrosine kinases are utilized by the TCR/CD3 complex to initiate signaling cascades. Several members of these two families, including Lck, Fyn and ZAP-70, have been implicated as physiological substrates of CD45R.

Which negative control should be used when using the PE conjugated CD45RO (UCH-L1): sc-1183 monoclonal antibody (sc-1183 PE) in flow cytometry?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend using isotype specific normal mouse IgG2a conjugated to PE, sc-2867.
