  • Production details: Autologous skin was taken from patients with vitiligo using a dermatome. Epidermal cell suspension was isolated from the skin sample and seeded in cell culture medium consisting of HAMs F10 supplemented with 10Â?„?žg/ml 12-0-tetradecanoylphorbol 13-acetate (PMA), 0.1nM isobutyl-methyl-1-xanthine (IBMX), 1% Ultroser G, 2mM glutamine, 100 IU/ml penicillin and 100Â?„?žg/ml streptomycin. Overgrowth of fibroblasts and keratinocytes was prevented by addition of geneticine 1/100 (G418).
