  • Tool sub type: Mouse
  • Conditional: Yes
  • Description: Conditional knockout of ATF7 DNA binding domain. Transcription factor (BZIP-type, AP1-family)
  • Genetic background: Atf7 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library (RZPD), cloned into pIRES-lacZ-pA-neo-loxP, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells. Transgenic animals were produced by blastocyst injection and offspring mice were backcrossed at least six times with C57 Bl/6 mice to produce isogenic lines.
  • Phenotype: Normal phenotype
  • Zygosity: Homozygous
