  • Name: Anti-Keratin14 [LL001]
  • Clone: LL001
  • Tool type ecom: Antibodies
  • Tool sub type: Primary antibody
  • Class: Monoclonal
  • Conjugation: Unconjugated
  • Molecular weight: 50 kDa
  • Strain: Balb/c
  • Reactivity: Human ; Mouse ; Pig
  • Host: Mouse
  • Application: IHC ; IF ; Ip ; WB
  • Description: Keratin 14, a type 1 intermediate filament protein, is one of the two keratins which distinguish stratifying epithelial cell types from simple epithelial cell types. This protein can be detected in intermediate filaments and stratified squamous epithelial cells; in the basal (myoepithelial) cells of glandular epithelia and all cells of keratinocyte lineage, including tumours. LL001 therefore characterises stratifying/keratinocyte cell types.
  • Immunogen: Peptide (last 16 carboxy-terminal amino acids of human keratin) coupled to thyroglobulin by the extra Cys added at the N terminus.
  • Isotype: IgG2a kappa
  • Myeloma used: Sp2/0-Ag14
  • Recommended controls: Tonsil or lymph node

Target Details
