Cell Line Description

From a 19 month old male mouse (C57BL/ICRF) which had received an i.p. injection of MAMA each week for 18 months. 4th in vivo passage - source of explant culture. Cells form acini and junctional complexes and produce large tumours in nude mice (6 x 1,000,000 cells inoculum) after 1 month.

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:4 to 1:10 i.e. seeding at 1-3x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.05% trypsin; 5% CO₂; 37°C. Cells grow in clumps.
