Relevance This is a triple negative breast cancer patient's derived cell line. Histology of invasive duct carcinoma. The line is derived from pleural effusion. The line grows as colonies in culture. When implanted to NSG mice it forms tumors. The line has a full exome sequence and can be compared to the germline exome sequence. This unique line can serve as a platform for drug screening for cancer stem cells targeted compounds in vitro and in vivo.
Production Details The cells were derived from metastasis (pleural effusion) in a patient with invasive duct carcinoma.

Recommended Growing Conditions The base medium for this cell line is DMEM with 10% bovine serum.
