Anti-GTP [3A5] recombinant antibody

Invented by Urpo Lamminmäki
Invented at University Of Turku

Info

Catalogue Number 157719
Applications FACS IF
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets GTP
Reactivity Human
Relevance GTPases are central cellular signaling proteins, which cycle between a GDP-bound inactive and a GTP-bound active conformation in a controlled manner. Ras GTPases are frequently mutated in cancer and so far only few experimental inhibitors exist. The most common methods for monitoring GTP hydrolysis rely on luminescent GDP- or GTP-analogs. (From Kopra et al Anal. Chem. 2015, 87, 6, 3527–3534)
Notes An affinity matured variant of anti-GTP [2A4] which can also be found on the Ximbio website.
