Anti-DGKα [M5B] monoclonal Antibody

Invented at Netherlands Cancer Institute

Info

Catalogue Number 154778
Applications IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets DGKα
Synonyms DGKA; Diacylglycerol Kinase Alpha
Reactivity Human
Relevance Diacylglycerol kinase alpha is an enzyme that belongs to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. It acts as a modulator that competes with protein kinase C for the second messenger diacylglycerol in intracellular signalling pathways. It also plays an important role in the resynthesise of phosphatidylinositol's and phosphorylating diacylglycerol to phosphatidic acid.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Immunized with an Escherichia coli cell-expressed, affinity-purified glutathione S-transferase protein of a C-terminal portion (part of the Catalytic domain) of Rat DGKu.
Molecular Weight (kDa) 77
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Strain Balb/c
Notes Fusion partners: Fusion of SP2/0 Mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells from a BALB/c Mouse.
Against an Escherichia coli cell-expressed, affinity-purified glutathione S-transferase fusion protein of a C-terminal portion (part of the catalytic domain) of rat DGK.
Research Area Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Immunology, Metabolism
