Invented at Netherlands Cancer Institute

Info

Catalogue Number 154770
Applications FACS
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets CD23
Synonyms FCER2; Lymphocyte IgE Receptor; Fc-Epsilon-RII
Reactivity Human
Relevance CD23 is the "low-affinity" receptor for IgE, an antibody isotype involved in allergy and resistance to parasites, and is important in regulation of IgE levels. Unlike many of the antibody receptors, CD23 is a C-type lectin. It is found on mature B cells, activated macrophages, eosinophils, follicular dendritic cells, and platelets.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Daudi (human Burkitt's lymphoma cell-line)
Subclass IgG1
Molecular Weight (kDa) 25
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Recommended Growing Conditions IMDM + 5% FBS ultra low IgG, 37 ⁰C CO2
Strain Balb/c
Notes Fusion partners: SP2/0 x spleen cells origin BALB/C.

Range in molecular weight from 25 kDa to 37 kDa, with the 25 kDa form predominating in sera
