Info

Catalogue Number 154074
Applications ELISA IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Mycobacterial 30-kDa
Reactivity Mycobacterium bovis
Relevance Proteins of the antigen 85 complex in the 30-kDa region secreted by live mycobacteria are important in the immune response against mycobacterial infections and play an important biological role in the host-parasite interaction. This antibody recognises antigen 85B (MPT59) only. This antibody also specifically stained M.leprae bacilli within macrophages in highly bacilliferous lepromatous leprosy lesions.
Host Mouse
Immunogen 30-kDa antigen isolated from M.tuberculosis (RIVM-strain 7114)
Positive Control M.tuberculosis
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used P3X63Ag8.653
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI 1640
Strain Balb/c
Notes Reacts with M.bovis BCG, M.tuberculosis complex and M.leprae. Does not react with E.coli.
Research Area Bacteriology, Immunology, Microbiology
