Info

Catalogue Number 154070
Applications ELISA IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Mycobacterial 65-kDa hsp
Reactivity Mycobacterium bovis and Mycobacterium avium
Relevance Mycobacterial 65-kDa hsp and the actively secreted antigen 85 complex of 30 -kDa region proteins are considered to be major immune targets in mycobacterial diseases. This antibody recognises hsp65 and antigens 85A (MPT44), 85B (MPT59) and 85C (MPT45). This antibody stains clear rod-shaped M.leprae bacilli within macrophages.
Host Mouse
Immunogen 65-kDa antigen isolated from M.tuberculosis (RIVM-strain 7114)
Positive Control M.tuberculosis
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used P3X63Ag8.653
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI 1640
Strain Balb/c
Notes Reacts with M. bovis BCG, M.tuberculosis complex, M.avium complex and M.leprae. Does not react with 65 kDa protein from E.coli. Epitope on mycobacterial 65 kDa heat shock protein mapped to residues in the carboxy-terminal region of amino acid residues 479-540. Additionally reacts with the secreted antigen 85 complex
Research Area Bacteriology, Immunology, Microbiology
