Anti-CYE1 [17C8]

Invented at University of Georgia

Info

Catalogue Number 153927
Applications IF WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Cyclin E
Synonyms CYE-1
Relevance Cyclin E is a member of the cyclin family of proteins, which regulates the cell cycle through its activation of cyclin-dependent kinases. Specifically, cyclin E binds and activates the S phase Cdk2. The cyclin E–Cdk2 complex promotes the G1 to S phase cell cycle transition. Overexpression of cyclin E has been implicated in carcinomas among the gastrointestinal tract, including colon or stomach cancer as well as a marker for breast cancers
Host Mouse
Immunogen Full-length recombinant CYE-1 protein
Notes This mouse monoclonal antibody was generated against full-length recombinant cyclin E (CYE-1) protein and is specific for Caenorhabditis elegans CYE-1 full-length recombinant protein (prepared in bacteria) and has been validated for use in WB, IF (1:100-300).
