Anti-Estrogen Receptor ß5 [PPG5/25]

Invented at

Info

Catalogue Number 153633
Applications IHC IF WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Estrogen Receptor β 5
Synonyms Estrogen receptor beta, ER-beta, Nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group A member 2
Reactivity Human
Relevance Estrogen receptors are commonly over-expressed in cancers. Clone PPG5/25 recognizes Estrogen Receptor Beta (ERβ) 5 and is useful in determining the expression of ERβ5 in cancer cells, mainly via immunohistochemistry.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Tuberculin conjugated peptide that recognizes C terminus of ERβ5 at sequence LLSHVRHARYAP
Positive Control Normal colon or colon carcinoma
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Notes Suggested dilutions for use

Western Blot Assay-dependent
Immunohistochemistry 1:50-1:100
Immunofluorescence 1:500

Research Areas: Endocrinology;Cancer;Immunology;Neurobiology;Hepatology
