Anti-beta synuclein (PER3), Polyclonal

Info

Applications WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Beta synuclein (PER3)
Reactivity Human, Mouse and Rat
Relevance Beta-synuclein protein is encoded by the SNCB gene in humans. Beta-synuclein is highly homologous to alpha-synuclein, and both proteins are abundantly expressed in the brain. It is assumed that they putatively inhibit phospholipase D2 through a selective process and may play a role in neuronal plasticity. Synuclein proteins are heavily implicated in for development of Alzheimer's disease.
Host Rabbit
Formulation Isotype: IgG
Notes Reference number: A857/0138
Research Area Neurobiology
