Invented by Dr Jacqueline Cordell from University of Oxford
Invented at University of Oxford

Info

Catalogue Number 152836
Applications IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Factor VIII-related antigen (Von Willebrand factor / vWf)
Reactivity Human
Relevance Von Willebrand factor (vWF) mediates platelet adhesion to injured endothelium, the first step in hemostasis, and helps maintain factor VIII levels. When vWF is deficient, patients have a bleeding disorder called von Willebrand disease (vWD).
Host Mouse
Immunogen Von Willebrand factor isolated from human plasma
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used P3/NS1/1-Ag4.1
Recommended Growing Conditions RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + penicillin (100U/ml) + streptomycin (100mg/l) + glutamine (2mM) + HAT. Ultroser G (**) can be used at 1% if the cells are not growing well.
Notes Ultroser G can be used at 1% if the cells are not growing well.
