Info

Catalogue Number 152800
Applications ELISA IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets F Glycine Cleavage System Protein P (GCSP)
Synonyms GCE, GCSP, GCSP_HUMAN, GLDC, Glycine cleavage system P protein, glycine cleavage system protein P, Glycine decarboxylase, glycine decarboxylase P protein, Glycine dehydrogenase (decarboxylating) mitochondrial, Glycine dehydrogenase [decarboxylating], mitochondrial, Gycine dehydrogenase (decarboxylating), HYGN1, MGC138198, MGC138200, NKH
Reactivity Human
Relevance The glycine cleavage system catalyzes the degradation of glycine. The P protein binds the alpha-amino group of glycine through its pyridoxal phosphate cofactor; CO(2) is released and the remaining methylamine moiety is then transferred to the lipoamide cofactor of the H protein.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Ovalbumin-conjugated synthetic peptide PFSEQKRAS
Positive Control WB- Jurkat cell lysate
Subclass Not Known
Molecular Weight (kDa) 110
Myeloma Used P3X63Ag8.653
Strain Balb/c
Notes Note that the peptide immunogen is identical in mouse (Mus musculus), rat (Rattus norvegicus), sheep (Ovis aries), bovine (Bos taurus), dog (Canis familiaris), horse (Equus caballus) and chicken (Gallus gallus).

For IHC use antigen retrieval - microwave 20 min @ 800W in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0
Research Area Cancer, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Metabolism
