Western blot on Jurkat cell lysates using anti-GCSP [Z44P4C6*F5].
Immunohistochemistry was performed on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded liver tissue sections using anti-GCSP [Z44P4C6*F5]. Cytoplasmic staining is shown. The darker spots are hallmark of mitochondrial staining; in agreement with existing literature.

The frequency distribution of the intensity of expression of GCSP in normal colonic mucosa and primary colorectal cancer using Anti-GCSP [Z44P4C6*F5]. All monoclonal antibodies developed by Vertebrate Antibodies Ltd have been independently validated by the Department of Pathology, University of Aberdeen and the Grampian Biorepository. Each antibody has been tested by immunohistochemistry against a multi-tumour tissue microarray containing 16 tumour types matched with normal tissues. To identify clinical significance of targets of interest, corresponding antibodies have also been used to screen a large colorectal cancer tissue microarray (n=650). Relevance The glycine cleavage system catalyzes the degradation of glycine. The P protein binds the alpha-amino group of glycine through its pyridoxal phosphate cofactor; CO(2) is released and the remaining methylamine moiety is then transferred to the lipoamide cofactor of the H protein.
