Anti-SΔ10 [1A9]

Invented at A*STAR Accelerate Technologies Pte Ltd

Info

Catalogue Number 152652
Applications FACS Fn WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets S protein of the SARS coronavirus
Reactivity Virus
Relevance Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) genome encodes for four structural proteins, namely nucleocaspid (N), spike (S), membrane (M) and envelope (E). The S protein, which forms morphologically characteristic projections on the virion surface, is responsible for binding to cellular receptor and mediating the fusion between viral and cellular membranes. Both of these processes are critical for virus entry into host cells. The SΔ10 is a fragment containing residues from 1029 to 1129 of the S protein, which is a domain that is crucial for the fusion process.
Host Mouse
Immunogen GST-SΔ10 fusion protein
Positive Control SARS-CoV-infected Vero E6 cells
Subclass IgG1
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Research Area Virology
