Anti-Cytochrome P450 1A1, 1A2 [R1V]

Info

Applications IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Cytochrome P450 (CYP1A1,CYP1A2)
Reactivity Rat
Relevance CYP1A1 and CYP1A2 are members of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids.
Host Rabbit
Immunogen Synthetic peptide
Formulation Rabbit antiserum (liquid, no preservatives)
Notes Reacts with rat cytochrome P450 enzymes CYP1A1 and CYP1A2 in hepatic microsomal fraction. No cross-reactivity with other cytochrome P450 enzymes.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
0.1 mL. Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
WB useful for the simultaneous detection of rat CYP1A1 (57 kDa) and CYP1A2 (54 kDa), which can be separated by SDS-polyacrylamide electrophoresis;IHC on frozen or formaldehyde treated sections
For research use only; not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for human or animal consumption.
Research Area Cancer, Cardiovascular, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling, Metabolism
