|Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets||Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4)|
|Relevance||CYP3A4 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids.|
|Formulation||Rabbit antiserum (liquid, no preservatives)|
Reacts with human cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP3A4 in hepatic microsomal fraction from adult donors. Also binds to the fetal form: CYP3A7. No cross-reactivity with CYP3A5.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
0.1 mL. Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
IHC on frozen or formaldehyde treated sections
