Anti-Cytochrome P450 1A2 [R2Q]

Info

Applications IHC WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2)
Reactivity Human
Relevance CYP1A2 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids.
Host Rabbit
Immunogen Synthetic peptide: residues 290-296 of the cytochrome P450 enzyme (CYP1A2) of both rat and mouse (Ser-Glu-Asn-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asn)
Formulation Rabbit antiserum (liquid, no preservatives)
Notes Reacts with human cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP1A2 in hepatic microsomal fraction. No cross-reactivity with other cytochrome P450 enzymes including CYP1A1.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
0.1 mL. Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
IHC on frozen or formaldehyde treated sections
For research use only; not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for human or animal consumption.
