|Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets||Cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2)|
|Relevance||CYP1A2 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids.|
|Immunogen||Synthetic peptide: residues 290-296 of the cytochrome P450 enzyme (CYP1A2) of both rat and mouse (Ser-Glu-Asn-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asn)|
|Formulation||Rabbit antiserum (liquid, no preservatives)|
Reacts with human cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP1A2 in hepatic microsomal fraction. No cross-reactivity with other cytochrome P450 enzymes including CYP1A1.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
0.1 mL. Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
IHC on frozen or formaldehyde treated sections
