Anti-Aicda [1AID-2E11]

Info

Applications IF WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets  AID
Synonyms Activation-Induced Cytidine Deaminase; Cytidine Aminohydrolase; AID; Epididymis Secretory Protein Li 284
Reactivity Human and Mouse
Relevance Clone 1AID-2E11 recognizes human AID, encoded by the AICDA gene. Activation-induced cytidine deaminase (AICDA) was initially discovered as a homolog of the apolipoprotein B RNA-editing cytidine deaminase 1 (APOBEC1) that showed cytidine deaminase properties in stimulated B cell lines. AICDA is necessary for somatic hypermutation and class switch recombination in B cells, but inappropriate or dysregulated expression AID is often found in tumors and B cell neoplasms.
Host Mouse
Immunogen (C)EVDDLRDAFRMLGF
Subclass IgG1 kappa
Notes Available in 100ul unit as ascites.
Research Area DNA Damage and Repair, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling, Immunology
