Anti-SPAG1 [10G1/2]

Invented at Queen Mary University of London

Info

Catalogue Number 151749
Applications IF IP WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets SPAG1
Reactivity Human
Relevance Sperm-associated antigen 1 (SPAG1) has been shown to be expressed in high levels in pancreatic adenocarcinoma. SPAG1 is found in high levels in testis and a large proportion of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC). It has been seen that in PDAC's SPAG1 expression is predominantly cytoplasmic and confined to malignant cells.

The extent and intensity of SPAG1 expression has been shown to be associated with stage and tumour nodal status and this has led to the suggestion that SPAG1 is a novel marker of PDAC progression.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Synthetic peptide SPA-3 (sequence designed to avoid TPR motifs - KTAPFNKEKERRKIEIQEVNE)
Positive Control testis, pancreatic adenocarcinoma
Subclass IgG
