Catalogue Number 151695
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 isoform IIIb (FGFR2IIIb)
Disease Keywords Gastric
Relevance Knockout of FGFR2 IIIb isoform; in vivo study of FGFR2 IIIb isoform knockout.
Production Details An Fgfr2 targeting vector, containing a loxP-flanked IIIb exon and a loxP-flanked resistance cassette, was transfected into 129 ES cells. Properly targeted ES cells containing a homologous recombination event were selected, and transfected with a Cre expression vector to excise the resistance cassette. Targeted ES cells were injected into C57BL/6 blastocysts. Chimeric offspring were mated to C57BL/6 mice to generate mice heterozygous for the floxed Fgfr2 allele. Heterozygous mice were interbred to generate mice homozygous for the floxed Fgfr2 allele.
Conditional No
Mouse Genetic Background/Cross History 129/C57BL/6
Zygosity Homozygous
Research Area Cancer, Cell Signaling & Signal Transduction, Genetic Studies Tools, Immunology
