Catalogue Number 151535
Applications ELISA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Anaphase Promoting Complex (APC) 11
Reactivity Human and Xenopus laevis
Relevance APC11 is the catalytic subunit of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. Specifically, Apc11 acts as an E3 enzyme and is responsible for recruiting E2s to the APC and for mediating the subsequent transfer of ubiquitin to APC substrates in vivo.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Peptide spanning carboxy region of APC11.
Positive Control APC11 immunoprecipitated from Xenopus egg extract
Subclass IgG1
Subclass Notes Inconclusive
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Recommended Growing Conditions E4 medium + 10% FCS
Strain Balb/c
Research Area Cell Cycle, Protein Degradation
