Anti-PECAM1 [JC70]

Catalogue Number 151357
Applications FACS IHC IF WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets PECAM1 (CD31)
Synonyms Platelet/Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule 1; CD31 Antigen; EndoCAM; PECAM-1; GPIIA; PECA1; CD31/EndoCAM; CD31
Reactivity Human
Relevance PECAM1 (CD31) is a member of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily that is expressed on the surface of circulating platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, particular T-cell subsets, and is also a major constituent of the endothelial cell intercellular junction. PECAM1 is implicated in several functions, including transendothelial migration of leukocytes, angiogenesis, and integrin activation. JC70 is a good marker of endothelial cells in paraffin sections.
