Catalogue Number 151071
Applications ELISA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Alkaline phosphatase
Reactivity Human
Relevance Alkaline phosphatases are phosphodiesterases which remove phosphate groups from the 5' end of DNA, RNA and proteins at high pH. The placental-specific isozyme of Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP) is found in trophoblast cells of normal human mature placenta, seminomas of testis and ovarian carcinomas. Detection of alkaline phosphatase in serum is a marker for ovarian and testicular cancer.
Host Mouse
Immunogen D98/AH-2 (HeLa) cells, which produce human intestinal alkaline phosphatase ectopically
Subclass IgG2a
Myeloma Used P3X63Ag8
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Strain Balb/c
Notes AAP.1 may be used in the diagnosis of tumours as some tumours produce intestinal ALP ectopically.
Research Area Cancer, Cell Cycle, Cell Type or Organelle Marker
