Anti-AP2 (a&b) [A6/2/2]

Info

Catalogue Number 151069
Applications ELISA FACS IHC IF RIA WB
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Activating Protein 2 (AP-2) alpha and beta forms.
Reactivity Human
Relevance AP-2 is a family of developmentally regulated transcription factors which also play a role in breast cancer and melanoma. AP-2ß may be important in cardiac and kidney development. The AP-2 transcription factors form the OB2 complex that has been shown to up-regulate c-erb-B2 transcription.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Peptide to C-Terminal of AP-2 Alpha coupled to KLH. PNSHTDNNAKSSDKEEKHRK
Subclass IgG1
Positive Control Raji cells or breast carcinomas.
Myeloma Used NS0
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Notes Recommended for immunohistology using formal saline fixative with calcium on paraffin embedded specimens (10min microwave treatment required).
Research Area Cancer, Cardiovascular, Epigenetics & Nuclear Signalling
