Catalogue Number 151025
Applications IHC
Antigen/Gene or Protein Targets Vascular endothelium marker
Reactivity Human
Relevance Monoclonal antibody which specifically binds vascular endothelium tissue.

Background and Research Application
The vascular endothelium comprises the thin inner layer of cells lining arteries and veins, with an essential role in the regulation of blood vessel tone and cellular activity.
This antibody may be used to study the synovial membrane in rheumatoid, osteoarthritic and traumatised joints as well as normal vasculature. Anti-vascular endothelium (10) reactivity is stronger on capillary endothelium and weaker on larger arteries and veins.
Host Mouse
Immunogen Fibronectin-purified human monocytes.
Subclass IgM
Myeloma Used Sp2/0-Ag14
Recommended Growing Conditions DMEM + 5% FCS
Strain Balb/c
Notes Production Details
Purified using multi-step affinity chromatography with protein A.

Storage Conditions
Store at -20 degrees frozen. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Points of Interest
This antibody reacts specifically with vascular endothelium and no other tissue.

Concentration
1mg/ml as standard
Research Area Cancer, Cardiovascular, Cell Type or Organelle Marker
